Welcome to My First Blog…Ever!!!

Welcome to My First Blog…Ever!!!

The Beginning: Why it took so long for my first blog post

Well here it goes….Welcome to my first blog ever! I am terrified, excited, and determined all at the same time. I have had my original etsy shop for a couple of years now. It makes some sales but nothing to write about….literally.

For over a year I researched and read many advice blogs and articles and they all said the same thing. Start a blog. Now of course I’m thinking “Great what would I ever write about, and, who would ever read what I have to say.”  I know I am definitely not the first person  to think this exact same thought. However, my original etsy shop sells paper goods and home goods. I make paper die cuts for paper crafting, greeting cards, scrapbooking and such. I also make paper disposable wine glass markers, coasters and other such things. I thought I enjoyed making these things. Well, I do but not as much as I should. It took me until I thought about writing a blog to realize this. The idea terrified me, but I was open to it. So, I tried to start one, but I was lost for words. I gave up.

Then the Light Shines

THEN over this past Christmas holiday I had the brilliant idea of starting my new etsy shop Furry By Nature. If you read my about me it explains my passion for animals and for crafting. All of a sudden blogging didn’t seem to be so difficult. It is still scary as hell, but not hard for me anymore.  It is easy to see myself writing about something that I am so passionate about and I am very excited to start this new journey . I’m looking forward to sharing lots of stuff with you all.My blog posts will be about Pet Care, Pet D.I.Y. Projects, Lifestyle and Travel (with pets), and more. The first couple weeks my posts probably won’t be on any kind of schedule, until I get my groove.

Let me know what you think and feel free to contact me with any blog ideas or any thing in particular that you would like me to cover.

Thanks for reading! I’ll be back soon.
